According to the Public Relations Office of Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences, quoting the Vice Chancellor for Research and Technology, following a thorough review and evaluation of the submitted CVs, the outstanding student researchers and active contributors in student research for the year 2025 were officially announced.

Professor Zohreh Rahimi stated that at the medical specialty residency level, Dr. Dena Mohammadzadeh was selected as an outstanding student researcher. At the PhD level, Tooraj Massahi and Mitra Darbandi received the same distinction. In addition, at the Master’s degree level, Kimia Parnoun and Amirreza Fallahi were introduced as outstanding student researchers.
Professor Rahimi further added that at the general doctorate level, Parand Shariat Rad (medical student) and Mohammad Namiq Amin (pharamacy student) were recognized as outstanding student researchers. Notably, Mohammad Namiq Amin was the only international student among all selected awardees, highlighting the active and effective participation of international students in the university’s research community. At the Bachelor’s degree level, Amirhossein Naqibzadeh and Mohammad Mohammadi were also honored as outstanding student researchers.
She also noted that Mosleh Sedighi, Secretary General of the University Student Research and Technology Committee and a member of the Central Council of the National Student Research and Technology Committee of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, was recognized as an active contributor in the field of student research.
This achievement reflects the university’s strong commitment to promoting research excellence and encouraging both domestic and international students to actively engage in scientific and academic activities.
